Match day, play-by-play

Match Day started when the Class of 2002 met in Ross Hall with friends and family. This was the setting where the results of this year's residency match would be given out.

It all started with breakfast.

The Dean Schroth and other faculty made announcements and told the students to form lines to pick up their envelope.

Jen waiting in line for her envelope.

Tension was high.

Students were asked to wait--to open it all together. Jen is trying to peek!

Anticipation level is high, champagne is ready.

When Jen sees her results she gasps and pulls the sheet to her face. She is trying to tell us "George Washington" but not much is coming out. I thought I had seen GW, but only a glimpse.

At that point she stands and gets very excited, as GW was her FIRST choice!

She is so excited and can't believe it.

Now is the time to start celebrating!
